Busy times for High Water Media!
Our fearless leader just spent eighteen days performing technician duties for the two RED One cameras being used to shoot the upcoming feature film As Good As Dead which stars Cary Elwes, Frank Whaley, Andie MacDowell, Matt Dallas and Jess Weixler. Look for it to premiere sometime in 2009.
Musically, HWM band Seize Them! has just established a monthly residency at Tribeca NYC nightspot Uncle Mike’s, so be sure to go check them out. Flaming Tusk (website coming soon!) have just begun recording their 2008 demo at HWM’s basement recording studio, and we’re all very excited by the results so far. It appears their songs “26 Legions”, “Abigail (Guts Down The Drain)”, “My Red Son”, “Ichor” and “I Nap In Blood” are likely to make the cut.
High Water Media is very likely to put in an appearance at the 2009 South By Southwest Festival. We’ll be hanging around, checking out bands, passing out demos and generally promoting HWM affiliates. See you there!
